This page explains what personal data Reotech collects through this website and its booking system, where that data lives, and what we do with it. We have kept it specific to how this site actually works.

Who we are

Reotech is a software engineering company based in Tunisia, working with operations teams in France and Europe. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@reotech.org.

Browsing reotech.org

This website is a static site hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). It does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies, and it does not set tracking cookies of any kind. As with any website, our hosting layer processes standard technical request data (such as your IP address and request metadata) because it is necessary to deliver the pages you request and keep the service secure.

Booking a meeting

When you book a call on our booking page, the form asks for:

• your name;
• your email address;
• an optional message — anything you want us to know before the call;
• the meeting date, time, and timezone you selected.

The booking form also sends an internal tag noting which Reotech surface the booking came from. It contains no personal data about you.

Your browser sends these details to our scheduling API at booking-api.reotech.org, which forwards them to our self-hosted Nextcloud Calendar appointment system. That system emails you a confirmation link; once you confirm, the meeting is created on our calendar together with the name, email address, message, and time you provided. We use this only to schedule, prepare for, and hold the meeting.

Where your data is stored

• Bookings are stored as calendar entries in Reotech's self-hosted Nextcloud instance, which we operate on our own infrastructure.
• The scheduling API keeps no database of bookings. Its operational logs record event types and timings but not names, email addresses, or messages.
• Email: if you write to us, or we correspond after a booking, the exchange is kept in our mailboxes so we can follow up.
• To protect the booking system from abuse, availability requests are rate-limited by IP address.

How we use your data

Our use of personal data is internal: responding to inquiries, scheduling meetings, contacting prospective and existing clients, and providing our services. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Service providers

Our public website is served through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request data as part of delivering the site. The booking API and Nextcloud instance run on infrastructure operated by Reotech itself.

Retention

Booking details remain attached to their calendar entry while the meeting and any related work are relevant. When they are no longer needed for those purposes, or when you ask us to delete them, we delete them. Email correspondence is kept as long as the conversation remains useful for our work together, and deleted on request.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by writing to hello@reotech.org. We will respond within a reasonable time frame.
